Madras Institute of Fashion Technology (MFT) is a registered educational trust established in the year 2000, in the city of Chennai with a vision of producing well qualified and efficient students to drive the world for success.MFT has been promoted by a group of eminent educationalist and industry professionals with a mission to transfer the career conscious youth into an employable candidate. Successful professionals from various fields with proven credentials and rich experience support it. MFT‘s ongoing mission is to become a regional centre for all sorts of studies offering a wide spectrum of various courses in different aspects.

MFT has designed many courses as Diplomas, Undergraduate and post graduate Programmes in the field of Fashion and other technical courses for those who are keen to pursue creative and technical studies on full-time and part- time basis via collaborated arrangements with the best Government Universities such as Anna University-Coimbatore, Alagappa University- Karaikudi, Bharathiar University- Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Open University- Chennai, Manonmaniam University-Tirunelveli. We’re also deservedly proud of our faculty. The success of our Institute has been largely due to the outstanding commitment of faculty and staff, all of whom are get students through the examinations in flying colors, which are set and marked according to strict standards by the University. This has resulted in a rapid multifold increase in enrolment. Today, MFT has earned an international reputation for its high-quality curriculum, innovative teaching, artistic creation and community outreach.

MFT designs the schedule for preparing the students for better career in their respective fields. The curriculum stimulates the creative and technical expressions in all aspects which includes, designing, information technology, and managerial views.
